Mr. Jinendra Munot
Chairman
Mr. Jinendra Munot is a distinguished industrialist and the visionary Chairman of Varsha Forgings Limited. With a Masters in Mechanical & Production Engineering from the University of Washington, Seattle, he returned to India in 1976 to join his uncle, Mr. Firodia, at Jaya Hind Industries / Force Motors Ltd.
In 1981, Mr. Munot, in collaboration with Mr. Firodia, co-founded ZF Steering Gear Limited in Pune, a joint venture with ZF AG (now Bosch Automotive Steering), aimed at manufacturing mechanical and hydraulic power steering gears in India. This venture helped lay the foundation for his long-standing impact on the automotive components industry.
In 2005, Mr. Munot established Prima Feintechnik LLP, with a focus on acquiring auto component companies and setting up an industrial business park, M Park LLP. That same year, he acquired Varsha Forgings Ltd., a company specializing in hot forging components for the automotive industry. Under his leadership, Varsha Forgings quickly expanded its capabilities, becoming a trusted supplier to leading automotive manufacturers.
Mr. Munot's technical acumen and forward-thinking approach were key to Varsha Forgings’ success. In 2007, the company expanded its footprint by establishing a plant in Pune to manufacture suspension linkages for MAN Trucks India. His commitment to innovation led to a joint venture in 2013 with Korea Central Corporation (KCTR), now T&G Corporation Korea, to produce steering and chassis linkages for Tata Motors and Mahindra commercial vehicles.
Known for his engineering mindset and as a technocrat, Mr. Munot has always been driven by the desire to stay ahead of changing demands in the automotive industry. Constantly exploring new opportunities and products, he has positioned Varsha Forgings at the forefront of technological advancements and supply chain solutions. His strategic thinking and attention to evolving industry needs have made him a respected leader in the sector.
In 2016, Daimler India Commercial Vehicles recognized Varsha Forgings with the Best Supplier Award for the successful localization of suspension linkages, underscoring Mr. Munot's commitment to quality and innovation.

Mr. Yash J Munot
CEO & Director
Yash J Munot, a seasoned business leader with over two decades of experience, holds a BA Hons in Business Management & Finance from Regents Business School, UK (2001). His career began with an internship at Harry Mason, London (1999), followed by significant roles in waste water management at Dirk European Holding in Liverpool (2002) and as Project Manager at Dirk India Pvt Ltd, where he played a key role in establishing their Nashik plant in 2003.
In 2010, Yash joined the Association of Indian Forging Industry (AIFI) in the Western region. His leadership capabilities led to his election as Chairman of the Western region of AIFI from 2018-2020, followed by his nomination as National Vice President (2020-2023). As of 2024, Yash serves as the youngest President of AIFI, demonstrating his dynamic and forward-thinking approach to the industry.
Beyond forging, Yash is also the founder of Stego Lifestyle LLP (2017) and a board member of the Entrepreneurs Organization (EO) Pune Chapter since 2013, showcasing his entrepreneurial spirit and dedication to fostering business innovation.

Mr. Piyush J. Munot
Director
Mr. Piyush J. Munot is a highly accomplished industrialist and a key Director at Varsha Forgings Ltd. With a strong academic foundation in engineering and international business, he holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical) and a Masters of Science in Mechanical Engineering & International Sales from the University of Applied Sciences Konstanz, Germany (2000-2001). During his academic journey, Mr. Munot gained invaluable industry experience through internships at prestigious companies such as BMW Munich, Daimler ASEAN Sourcing Office in Singapore, and the Daimler Research Centre in Ulm.
In 2006, Mr. Munot played a pivotal role in the establishment of ZF India Pvt. Ltd., a wholly owned subsidiary of ZF Germany, which specializes in transmission gearboxes and powertrain components. As Managing Director, he successfully oversaw the development of three greenfield plants, the formation of a joint venture company, and the merger of two companies—efforts that significantly strengthened ZF India’s position in the automotive sector.
In 2016, Mr. Munot brought his wealth of experience and leadership to Varsha Forgings Ltd., joining as Managing Director, and to KCTR Varsha Automotive Pvt. Ltd. as Chief Executive Officer. His strategic vision and hands-on approach have been integral to the growth and diversification of the company, further expanding Varsha Forgings’ presence in the automotive components market.
Beyond his corporate achievements, Mr. Munot has been an active contributor to the industry’s development. He was elected to the National Executive Committee of the Auto Component Manufacturing Association (ACMA) from 2014 to 2020, where he advocated for the growth of India’s auto components industry. He is also a member of the Young Presidents Organization (YPO), Pune Chapter, since 2014, a platform for dynamic leaders to collaborate and innovate.
